Standard Frames
Our standard frames are ideal for awards, certificates and posters.
Turnaround time varies depending on the materials and quantity. We build all of our standard frames in-house. We cut and hand vise our frames to insure strong corners.
The materials we use to make our frames come from suppliers who are committed to quality and sustainability. PictureWoods, based in Boulder, Colorado, mills only renewable North American hardwoods including walnut, cherry, ash, maple and rift or quartersawn white oak.

Specialty Frames
Our specialty frames are made using the highest quality materials available. A frame can elevate any piece of artwork from a hand-written note to a large format photograph into a one of a kind piece.
Specialty frames come in contemporary, modern or traditional styles. They are built using ‘old-world’ techniques such as splined corners and water gilding.
From carved, gold-leaf frames to tiger maple and welded stainless steel floater frames, we have one of the most unique selections of frames on the West Coast.

Custom Framed Mirrors
We make custom framed mirrors in many sizes and finishes to complement the different styles and spaces in your home.
Specialty options include gold or silver antiqued mirror, blue or smoke mirror and starphire mirror. Starphire mirror has the truest, clearest reflection available.
When fitting mirror glass, we use a special adhesive to secure it in the frame which prevents the mirror from shattering in the event of an impact.

Acrylic Boxes
Acrylic boxes are designed primarily for oversized textiles and three dimensional objects. They can either hang on a wall or sit on a table top.
Boxes that hang on a wall are five-sided. The back of the box has a wood frame wrapped with fabric and museum board or other material and then the artwork is attached to the back of the box.
This style of box is often used for tapestries, masks, and other three dimensional pieces.
Table-top boxes (six-sided) are used for smaller pieces that you want to display and protect.
